Dropped by Faranda’s in DeKalb and had a surprisingly great breakfast. I went with the crosonwich sandwich, and wow—flaky croissant, warm eggs, gooey cheese, and whatever magic they put in there just worked. It was one of those bites where you pause mid-chew and go, “Okay, this is legit.” The hash browns were just as good—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and not drowning in grease. Simple, but done right. The vibe was chill, the staff were friendly, and it felt like the kind of place you could hang out without rushing. Whether you’re rolling in solo or grabbing brunch with friends, it’s got that easygoing energy that makes you want to come back. If you’re in DeKalb and need a solid breakfast that doesn’t try too hard but still delivers, Faranda’s is worth a stop.
